3 Steps To Become The Best Event Manager.

Updated: Sep 14, 2020

Welcome back to the second part of the blog where I share about things that make you a better Event Manager/Wedding Planner!

Picking up right from where I had left off, the second problem that exists is:

Maintaining Timelines. After an intense research on what is the top-most challenge an event manager faces and why, we found that that almost 85% of the event managers are facing this issue. I am sure you are very well aware of what this means:

1.Clients always tend to crib about the deliverable timing

2. Teams cannot keep up with the timings at the event

3. Discipline at the office premises is off-control

So what is the solution?

If you haven't heard of how to track down a right Work Breakdown Structure then you need a good Project Manager on your team right away! Understand that this industry needs more Project Managers to manage high-level tasks than regular 9-5 employees.

What is the need of a Project Manager when you have Experienced Event managers?

Project management teams are a group of professionals your company can hire to have a fresh perspective in the company.

A team that maintains timelines into bringing out the best result is all we want, isn't it?

By having them on the team, you bag in a lot of qualities that your clients would've never expected. It definitely increases the clients trust and in turn your profit margins. There is no end to talking of how project management is the next revolutionary change to the events industry.

Why not try having one on your team and experiencing it hands-on for your next event?

“Operations keeps the lights on, strategy provides a light at the end of the tunnel, but project management is the train engine that moves the organization forward.” ~ Joy Gumz

What do you think will happen once the systems are in place and everyone maintains timelines? Would it not be sensational? Let me know of what you think in the comments!

Try this and stay tuned for the upcoming guidelines.

Until next week!
