What does it take, as a leader, for you, to be more emotionally intelligent?
1. Recognize
2. Adapt
3. Re-invent
This is a simple yet effective process that has been devised to become a more emotionally-strong leader.
Being a Leader is a process. Becoming leaders is not a one week programme, it's ongoing. How does one become a leader? We generally either observe the do's of great leaders or dont's of bad ones. Even understanding this requires a certain level of emotional intelligence; so first is to recognize what is needed for you and your company. Good leaders often sit down with each and every personnel in the event and explain to them of why this is important to them what is it that they are gaining. It creates such ripples in peoples minds when you talk about what value they are creating by being there. Now that is something that will immediately boost morale. Lack of patience leads to bad behaviour we know it,we have seen it. So maybe work on yourself first and then the next step would be to work on your team. 90% of your conversations should be listening. Start Now.
See you next week for the second part of the blog!
Thank you so much.
